Lead Architect Position at HDR

HDR seeks a Lead Architect in Toronto to design and implement innovative solutions. Utilize your expertise across various architectural markets while managing project teams.
This role requires you to enhance your technical skills while overseeing the planning and design phases of multifaceted projects ranging from water facilities to advanced manufacturing plants. You will lead stakeholder meetings, ensure compliance with codes, and mentor junior architects. Taking ownership of project deliverables, you will guarantee high-quality documentation and effective coordination among team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and documentation process of complex projects

• Facilitate owner/client meetings and regulatory reviews

• Conduct detailed QA/QC and technical architecture reviews

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project

• Provide on-site construction oversight and administrative tasks
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in architectural design

• Registered Architect with expertise in Revit

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Experience managing project workflows and client relationships
