Expert Design Architect Hybrid Position

Become a leading Design Architect in North York, ON, through a hybrid role focused on transit facility design. Ensure architectural compliance and excellence in all project documentation.

This position involves a 12-month contract with options for extensions, perfect for experienced architects looking to make an impact. You will provide full architectural design services, manage the design team, and engage in ongoing evaluations of transit facilities to uphold high standards. Your contributions will support safety, constructability, and cost-effectiveness in architectural designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design efforts and manage engineering support staff

• Prepare detailed code compliance and design reports

• Check and sign off on architectural documentation

• Conduct site reviews and provide construction support

• Assist in the development of TTC standards

Requirements:

• Architectural degree and 10 years of relevant experience

• Must be registered with the Ontario Association of Architects

• Experience in transit facility design highly regarded

• Proficiency in Micro Station and Revit preferred

• Own personal computer is mandatory
