Responsibilities

Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings for vertical structures and facilities.

Manage a large group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating all other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.

Perform internal reviews and quality checks of the models and drawings to ensure compliance with CAD/ BIM standards, transit standards and guidelines, and PSOS.

Research materials, products and technologies required for the design and incorporate into the details, specification and other documents.

Qualifications

Architectural studies degree or other applicable higher education qualifications.

8+ years experience delivering BIM projects using authoring tools such as Revit, C3D, Open Buildings Designer and CDE platforms such as Project Wise, BIM
360 or ACC

Experience working with North American design requirements, regulations, and climate.

Sound knowledge of Transit design principles and method, including design, specifications, construction and contract administration.

Knowledge of Municipal and provincial planning and zoning requirements and processes.

Familiarity with both Provincial and National related standards, codes and their application to transit facilities.

Understanding of Heritage Architecture aspects pertaining to transit projects.

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $93,
MB & ON: $85,
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $84,
