Lead construction-phase contract administration at Hariri Pontarini Architects in Toronto, using technical expertise and contractual judgment on complex projects.
This full-time Architectural Project Lead role focuses on institutional, public-sector, and large-scale architectural work. You will coordinate clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams while supporting quality project delivery. The position requires strong construction documentation knowledge, stakeholder communication, and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead contract administration throughout construction and ensure document compliance
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs
- Administer change orders, payment certificates, and contract amendments
- Conduct site reviews and resolve construction deficiencies
- Maintain records, closeout submissions, and timely deliverables
- 10–15 years of architectural practice experience
- Substantial construction-phase contract administration experience
- Knowledge of building science, construction methods, and applicable codes
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Architecture or Architectural Technology degree or diploma
