BIM modeling and multidisciplinary coordination define this full-time Toronto opportunity with Kiewit’s MEC Transportation District. Apply design technology expertise across transit and rail project workflows.
As a BIM Specialist, you will support design and construction projects through model management, standards enforcement, and coordinated workflows. The position suits CAD technicians, engineering specialists, and architectural designers developing multidisciplinary modeling expertise. You will create quality assets, support BIM execution plans, and assist project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate accurate BIM models with project stakeholders
- Monitor projects for errors and enforce model cleanup
- Support design technology software and workflow changes
- Create digital design library and project assets
- Teach design technology skills to engineers and architects
- Associate degree or high school diploma plus experience
- Zero to two years of relevant experience
- Basic AutoCAD skills and ability to pick up marks
- Clear oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines under supervision
Support Kiewit transportation projects through BIM coordination, AutoCAD skills, model standards, and multidisciplinary design technology expertise.
