GTA Hospice Palliative Care Physician

Journey Home Hospice, part of the Saint Elizabeth Foundation, has been a cornerstone for vulnerable populations since 2018. This role involves working in a team of medical professionals on a fee-for-service basis, handling onsite visits and a manageable on-call schedule. As we expand our services, you'll have a platform to deliver exceptional patient-centered care while enjoying opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive hospice care at the facility

• Manage on-call duties during assigned rotations

• Collaborate with nurses and support staff for holistic care

• Engage in care-related research and evaluation

• Uphold a culturally competent care approach

Requirements:

• Medical degree specializing in palliative care

• Experience in a hospice or similar care environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Openness to continuing education

• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements
