As a medical specialist, you will play a pivotal role in rehabilitative care for CAF members. This position involves providing direct patient care, consultation services, and mentorship to healthcare professionals both nationally and internationally. You will also contribute to healthcare policy development, ensuring the best practices are applied in military settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide consultative and direct care for CAF members
• Offer SME recommendations and advice to healthcare teams
• Conduct video-assisted consultations for remote members
• Mentor healthcare professionals in rehabilitation practices
• Develop healthcare policy within the Canadian Armed Forces
Requirements:
• Eligible for Royal College certification in Canada
• Unrestricted license in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Complete Basic Military Officer Qualification training
• Willing to relocate for assignments
• Knowledge of operational military healthcare
