Foundation Health Psychiatrist

Foundation Health invites a licensed Psychiatrist to contribute to advancing patient-centered mental health care in Ontario. Engage in collaborative care with family doctors and specialized health professionals.

You will provide comprehensive assessments and collaborate on treatment for a range of mental health issues. As part of a dedicated team, you will not only develop treatment plans but also participate in continuous quality and safety initiatives. This position offers flexibility in practice settings, including virtual care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients with varying mental health disorders

• Effectively diagnose and manage complex conditions

• Create customized treatment plans, incorporating drugs and psychotherapy

• Continuously follow up on patient medication management

• Keep accurate medical records per regulations

Requirements:

• MD degree from a recognized institution

• FRCPC in Psychiatry with CPSO independent licensure

• Strong judgment and collaborative skills essential

• Outpatient psychiatry experience preferred

• CMPA membership necessary
