Physician Assistant - Endocrinology Focus

In this role with Unity Health Toronto, you will engage with patients in various settings, focusing on endocrine and metabolic disorders. Your contributions will include performing assessments, executing treatment plans, and managing patient follow-ups. Additionally, your organizational skills will assist in streamlining operational tasks and supporting physicians during transitions in care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and formulate clinical plans

• Manage treatment strategies directed by supervising physicians

• Exhibit diagnostic and therapeutic procedural skills

• Cultivate trustful relationships with patients and families

• Facilitate patient education and healthcare communication

Requirements:

• Member of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario

• Preferred membership in the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants

• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS

• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills

• Prior PA clinical experience in hospital settings preferred
