Become a Complaints Resolution Investigator with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. This role focuses on investigating physician complaints to ensure patient safety and quality care.
At CPSO, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining healthcare standards by investigating the conduct and capacity of physicians in Ontario. Your responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data from various sources, conducting interviews, and preparing detailed reports. This opportunity requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Resolve complaints regarding physician practices and conduct
• Analyze hospital and office records thoroughly
• Conduct interviews and take clear statements
• Prepare comprehensive reports for internal committees
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and legal advisors
Requirements:
• Regulated professional with a relevant university degree
• Five years of experience in a healthcare environment
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Proficient in written and verbal communication
• Flexible to occasional travel across Ontario
