Position SummaryMen's health has historically been underserved not because men don't need care, but because the healthcare system has rarely made it easy for them to seek it. Stem Health is changing that building a men's health program that is clinical in its rigour, proactive in its approach, and designed around the kind of trusted, longitudinal physician relationship that makes real health change possible.
We are looking for a physician with focused expertise in men's health to lead this program. You will deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care across the full spectrum of men's health hormonal optimization, sexual health, cardiovascular and metabolic risk, prostate and urological health, and the psychological dimensions of male health and wellbeing. You will work as an integrated member of Stem Health's physician team, with access to advanced diagnostics, a multidisciplinary clinical team, and a member population that is engaged, motivated, and ready to invest in their health.
Experience in executive healthcare, concierge medicine, or high-acuity private practice is a significant asset. This is a role for a physician who can speak to a man's health comprehensively and who understands that getting there requires both clinical expertise and the kind of physician presence that makes men feel genuinely heard.
Comprehensive men's health assessment- Conduct thorough, individualized men's health assessments integrating medical history, lifestyle factors, symptom burden, sexual function, hormonal status, cardiometabolic risk, urological health, and psychological wellbeing into a complete clinical picture.
- Order and interpret a comprehensive men's health laboratory panel including total and free testosterone, LH, FSH, SHBG, estradiol, PSA, lipids, HbA1c, fasting insulin, thyroid function, CBC, CMP, vitamin D, and inflammatory markers to establish each member's full hormonal and metabolic baseline.
- Integrate body composition data (DEXA lean mass, fat mass, visceral adipose tissue) and resting metabolic rate (RMR) into hormonal and metabolic health assessments, recognizing the bidirectional relationship between body composition, testosterone, and cardiometabolic risk.
- Screen for and evaluate comorbidities that significantly affect men's health outcomes, including obesity, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, obstructive sleep apnea, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and mood disorders ensuring these are addressed as part of the integrated care plan.
- Diagnose and manage hypogonadism (primary and secondary) and age-related testosterone decline using a rigorous, evidence-based clinical framework distinguishing between symptomatic hypogonadism requiring treatment and normal age-related variation.
- Prescribe and manage testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) across appropriate delivery modalities (topical gels, injectable testosterone, pellets) with careful attention to dosing, monitoring, safety, and patient preference.
- Monitor and manage TRT-related parameters including haematocrit, PSA, lipid profile, blood pressure, testicular volume, and fertility implications conducting structured follow-up assessments at appropriate intervals.
- Evaluate and manage related hormonal conditions including elevated estradiol, DHEA‑S insufficiency, thyroid dysfunction, growth hormone deficiency, and adrenal fatigue within the context of men's hormonal health.
- Advise on and manage hormonal health optimization in men not yet meeting clinical criteria for TRT addressing subclinical hormonal imbalance, lifestyle-modifiable hormonal factors, and evidence-based supplementation as part of a comprehensive hormonal health plan.
- Evaluate and manage erectile dysfunction (ED) through a comprehensive clinical lens assessing vascular, hormonal, neurological, psychological, and pharmacological contributors, and developing individualized treatment plans that address underlying aetiology rather than symptom suppression alone.
