Foundation Health seeks a compassionate Geriatrician to provide specialized care for older adults. This role requires conducting comprehensive geriatric assessments, diagnosing complex medical conditions, and developing tailored treatment plans. Work closely with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, physiotherapists, and dietitians to ensure holistic patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive geriatric assessments for elderly patients
• Diagnose and manage medical, cognitive, and functional issues
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
• MD degree in Geriatric Medicine
• Certification from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Experience in interdisciplinary healthcare environments preferred
