About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President for Member Experience and Physician Services. This pivotal role is designed to enhance the support, service, and engagement of the company's members, which include physicians, medical students, and retired physicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to improve the member experience, deliver essential services, and create meaningful opportunities for member participation.
A key focus will be on helping members navigate changes in the healthcare system, including new policies, programs, and models of care. The EVP will also be tasked with developing an integrated member experience strategy that strengthens trust, demonstrates the value of membership, and fosters a sense of community and leadership among members.
Applicants for the EVP position should be accomplished physician leaders or have a strong background in a related field, with an MD or equivalent medical degree strongly preferred. The role requires a clear communicator, experienced people leader, and someone with strong political and governance acumen. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading transformation, member engagement, or service delivery initiatives, and be motivated by the opportunity to strengthen the physician community.
Substantial executive experience in a complex portfolio related to services, membership, or stakeholder engagement is essential, as is a deep understanding of the healthcare system and the issues affecting physicians and patients.
