The Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, together with the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at University Health Network (UHN) and Sinai Health invite applications for the position of Academic Hepatologist within the Toronto Centre for Liver Disease at Toronto General Hospital, UHN. The anticipated start date is February 1, 2027, or as mutually agreed.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished physician holding an MD degree or equivalent, with residency and subspecialty training in hepatology and demonstrated expertise in the management of acute and chronic liver disease. A subspecialty interest in autoimmune liver disease would be preferred, based on current clinical needs. The candidate will bring a compelling vision for advancing and expanding UHN’s dynamic, high-volume liver disease program, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and academic advancement.
