The University of Toronto is seeking a Writing Instructor for the academic year within the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education. This role requires teaching both undergraduate and graduate students in writing conventions specific to health sciences. You'll conduct workshops, align with faculty to clarify assignments, and enhance writing resources in the center.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual writing instruction to health sciences students
• Conduct engaging writing workshops for various disciplines
• Collaborate with faculty on assignment expectations
• Contribute to the professional development of the Writing Centre
• Mentor students on academic integrity and writing styles
Requirements:
• Completed graduate degree; doctoral preferred
• Proven experience teaching academic writing
• Familiarity with AI and writing pedagogy
• Experience in health sciences writing instruction
• Commitment to equity and inclusion in education
