Wednesdays, 5:00-6:00pm. Must be located in geographical proximity to the applicable University premises.
Course
Description:
Mathematics of finance. Matrices and linear equations. Review of differential calculus; applications. Integration and fundamental theorem; applications. Introduction to partial differentiation; applications.

TA support: Allocation of TA hours will be based on enrollment numbers.
Salary:
- Sessional Lecturer I: $9,820.70
- Sessional Lecturer I Long Term: $10,510.04
- Sessional Lecturer II: $10,510.04
- Sessional Lecturer II Long Term: $10,760.28
- Sessional Lecturer III: $10,760.28
- Sessional Lecturer III Long Term: $11,030.36
Note:
If rates stipulated in the collective agreement differ from those stated above, the agreement rates prevail.
- Master’s (or higher) degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Mathematics Education.
- Teaching experience required.
- Course offered partly in active learning format; prior experience with this teaching style is an asset.
- Lecturing in a large undergraduate course with multiple sections.
- Conduct office hours.
- Prepare class materials, tutorials, tests, and exams.
- Grade assignments and exams.
- Communicate with TAs.
- Attend orientation meetings and course organizational meetings.
- Additional duties as directed by the Course Coordinator, Undergraduate Administrator, or Associate Chair, Undergraduate.
Classes, tests, and tutorials will normally be conducted in person.
