Arts Teacher / Enseignant-e d'arts plastiques (2026‑2027)

Toronto campus – 318 Lawrence Avenue East, Toronto, Ontario, M4N 1T7

Reporting to the Principal and/or his delegate and working in collaboration with teachers and resource teachers, you will be responsible for:

• Creating a supportive learning environ ment to help students meet their learning goals
• Understanding the needs of all student groups
• Using appropriate study materials and resources that enhance active learning and motivate students
• Tracking student progress and providing useful feedback
• Planning course material and activities
• Building trusting relationships with students, parents, and other staff members

En collaboration avec le Directeur et/ou son délégué et en travaillant avec les enseignants et les enseignants‑ressources, vous aurez pour responsabilité :

• Créer un environnement d’apprentissage favorable qui aide les élèves à atteindre leurs objectifs d’apprentissage
• Comprendre clairement les besoins de tous les groupes d’élèves
• Utiliser du matériel d’étude et des ressources appropriés favorisant l’apprentissage actif et motivant les étudiants
• Suivre les progrès des élèves en suivant leurs travaux et fournir un retour d’information utile
• Planifier les supports et activités de cours
• Établir des relations de confiance avec les élèves, les parents et le personnel

• Excellent French and English skills (oral and written)
• Certified teacher (OCT or equivalent) with a degree in education (B.Ed. or M.Ed.)
• Ability to teach in French (native language) and converse in English (minimum B2)
• Good knowledge of the French curriculum
• Experience as an arts teacher
• Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Ontario programs an asset
• Teacher certification by the French Ministry of Education an asset

Excellente maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (oral et écrit)

• Être titulaire d’un diplôme d’enseignant
• Être capable d’enseigner en français (niveau équivalent langue maternelle) et de converser en anglais (niveau B2 minimum)
• Bonne connaissance du curriculum français
• Expérience en tant que professeur d’arts plastiques
• Une connaissance des programmes d’enseignements ontariens et du baccalauréat international une valeur ajoutée
• Un diplôme d’enseignant par le ministère de l’éducation nationale de France un atout
