Are you passionate about teaching and helping young learners succeed? Do you have a strong command of English, French, and Elementary Math? At Oxford Learning Forest Hill, we’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Tutor to work with students from Grades 1 through 8.

Position Details
  • Subjects:
    English tutor, French tutor, and Math tutor
  • Student Age Group:
    Grades 1 to 8
  • Availability Requirements:
    • Monday‑Thurs 3:30/4pm 'til 8pm
    • Additional Saturday daytime availability is highly preferred.
  • 2‑4 shifts per week
  • Location:

    Oxford Learning Forest Hill (Avenue Road and Eglinton)
What You’ll Do
  • Coach students on English, French, and Math in small group settings with a focus on individualized learning.
  • Create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet each student’s unique needs and goals.
  • Monitor and communicate student progress with parents and the center’s Education Coordinator.
  • Use Oxford Learning’s proprietary curriculum to deliver effective and enriching lessons.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education:
    • University degree
    • OCT preferred but not necessary
    • Strong academic background in English, French, and math (proficiency in French is essential as we’ll want you to converse in French while coaching students).
  • Experience:
    • Must have previous teaching or tutoring experience
    • Ability to work with students of varying abilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills in both English and French (oral and written).
    • Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for teaching.
    • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Bonus:
    Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum or similar educational standards. Familiarity with High School math or science.
