Overview

Homeroom Teacher / Enseignant-e Titulaire de Classe (Long Term Occasional) – Toronto French School (TFS – Canada’s International School). Full‑time, French‑language instruction, teaching Grade 2–5, January – June 2026.

Location:

296 Lawrence Avenue East, Toronto, Ontario, M4N 1T7.

• Create a supportive learning environment that helps students meet their learning goals.
• Understand the needs of all student groups and use appropriate study materials and resources to enhance active learning.
• Oversee student progress by tracking assignments and providing useful feedback.
• Plan course material and activities.
• Build trusting relationships with students, parents, and staff.

• Excellent French and English (oral and written).
• Certified teacher (OCT or equivalent) with a degree in education (B.Ed. or M.Ed.).
• Native‑level French instruction;
  English conversation level B2 minimum.
• Good knowledge of the French curriculum.
• Experience as a homeroom teacher (Grade CP–CM2).
• Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Ontario programs an asset.
• Certification by the French Ministry of Education an asset.
