Senior Training & Curriculum Design Specialist (English/French)
iA Financial Group (Industrial Alliance) is seeking a Senior Training & Curriculum Design Specialist to design, develop, and deliver impactful training programs and curriculum for advisers and clients within iA Private Wealth (iAPW).
DescriptionAs a Senior Training & Curriculum Design Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging learning solutions, maintaining up-to-date training content, and supporting the successful implementation of strategic initiatives through effective training delivery. This role requires a learning and development professional with a strong background in instructional design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities- Assess, design, and implement engaging training programs for advisers and clients, including digital, financial planning, practice management, and growth initiatives, in alignment with organisational strategy.
- Collaborate with business partners and subject‑matter experts to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Develop written and visual training content for digital projects and other initiatives, ensuring clarity and relevance.
- Maintain and update the training content library, ensuring all materials are current and effective.
- Gather feedback from internal teams and advisers to monitor and improve training effectiveness.
- Simplify and communicate complex messages using various communication methods.
- Support the delivery of live and recorded training sessions in collaboration with the Practice Management and Training Delivery team.
- Partner with Marketing to develop multimedia training content, such as videos and interactive modules.
- Contribute to creative brainstorming and concept development sessions.
- Oversee the design of training programmes, workshops, and e‑learning courses to meet the diverse needs of advisers and clients.
- Ensure all training materials are aligned with adult learning principles and best practices.
- Collaborate on the translation of training content to support bilingual delivery (English and French).
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance learning outcomes.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and curriculum design.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal subject‑matter experts and support teams.
- Communicate effectively and foster teamwork across departments.
- Actively participate and contribute to team meetings and a culture of open communication.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
- Perform other tasks as required to support business objectives.
- Proficiency in both English and French (speaking, reading, and writing) – required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, or a related field (ideally).
- At least 7 years of training and instructional design experience, with a minimum of 2 years in investment or wealth management.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
- Proven ability to apply expertise and creative thinking to unique or ambiguous situations.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms (e.g., Articulate Rise).

The base salary range for this position is USD 90,000 – USD 105,000 plus an annual bonus. This is a full‑time, permanent role.
