Position: Primary Bait-ul-Ilm (BUI) Teacher Mentor - Primary Grade 1-6 for Bait-ul-Ilm (BUI)

About the Program

As a Teacher Mentor on the centre leadership team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the academic direction of the centre. Working alongside the Principal, Vice Principals, and other leaders, you’ll ensure operational and academic goals align within the BUI programs. You'll engage with the evolving Talim curriculum and support both student learning and teacher development.

This position also offers you the opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Talim curriculum and improve pedagogical practices to enrich the student experience.

About the Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

Mentorship: Provide professional development for teachers to enhance their understanding of the Talim curriculum and teaching strategies.

Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team and Primary Education Lead (PEL) to achieve academic excellence and meet operational goals.

Program Improvement: Support the academic quality improvement of BUI programs.

Resource & Recruitment Support: Ensure teachers and volunteers have the necessary resources to succeed and assist in recruiting qualified educators.

We welcome volunteers aged 18+ to join our Teacher Mentor Team.

A Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is required, but no prior experience with BUI is needed. Training will be provided.
