Sturm-Liouville problems, Green's functions, special functions (Bessel, Legendre), partial differential equations of second order, separation of variables, integral equations, Fourier transform, stationary phase method.

Qualifications- Previous teaching experience as the instructor of a Mathematics course at the 3rd-year university level (required).
- Previous teaching experience as the instructor for MATC
46H3 or equivalent (strongly desirable).
Position starts February 23, 2026 for the remainder of the winter semester to April 30, 2026. All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; submission of a deferred exam; holding regular office hours; supervising TAs assigned to course.
