Description:
An intense travel program led by an instructor to allow advanced students to spend time in Switzerland, conducting fieldwork, experiencing local design programming, and connecting with professionals. Student assignments will focus upon the elements (façades, stairs, windows, etc.) of Swiss architecture.

Minimum Qualifications: We are seeking applicants with a professional degree in architecture (Master's or Bachelor's). Strong knowledge of contemporary Swiss architecture is required. This will be demonstrated through several years of professional experience in a Swiss architecture or landscape architecture office. Demonstrated design excellence is needed and will be evaluated through consideration of professional experience, design awards and exhibitions (if applicable), and a 1-2 page portfolio.
Preferred Qualifications: Several years' teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is desired, as is a strong record in architectural practice.
Description of DutiesThe chosen candidate will prepare and lead a three-week travel course in Switzerland. They will travel to Switzerland with the students in August 2026. The chosen candidate will deliver course material, coördinate with Daniels Faculty administrators, prepare and mark assignments, submit grades, and deal with student enquiries.
