Camp Wahanowin is a children’s overnight summer camp nestled on 100 acres of scenic wilderness on the shores of Lake Couchiching in Orillia, Ontario. Since 1955, Wahanowin has been a place where young people aged 6–16 build lifelong friendships, expand their confidence, and discover their best selves through engaging activities, community living, and tradition-rich camp life. Rooted in values of respect, growth, community, and tradition, we’re looking for dedicated, enthusiastic staff to help make each summer unforgettable for our campers.

Join our Staff Team and experience the magic of Waha! Most roles are for the summer season, but some spots are available for the Spring and Fall Outdoor Education Season. Work, play, and make memories that last a lifetime—right here at camp!

Camp Wahanowin is seeking an energetic, organized, and passionate Head of Tennis to lead our camp tennis program for the summer. This leadership role is ideal for someone who loves working with children, thrives in a team environment, and is excited to build a fun, structured, and skill-focused program for players of all levels. The Head of Tennis will oversee and mentor a team of tennis instructors, develop age-appropriate lesson plans and drills, organize daily schedules and court rotations, and ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere on the courts.

Strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to motivate and develop staff are essential. Previous experience teaching tennis and supervising staff is required, and a strong playing background is preferred. If you are a positive role model who is enthusiastic about developing both skills and confidence in young athletes and want to spend the summer leading an active and dynamic program, we would love to hear from you.
