Position: STEM Coordinator for Junior School
Shape the future of STEM education at Havergal College as a full-time K–6 STEM Coordinator starting September 2026. Drive innovation in student-led learning experiences and curriculum development.

In this integral role, you will foster a cohesive JK–6 STEM program emphasizing inquiry, real-world problem solving, and design thinking. Collaborating with faculty and leadership, you will empower teachers to create engaging, student-centered learning environments that align with the Ontario curriculum. This position requires an experienced educator who values collaborative teaching and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a cohesive JK–6 STEM vision

• Partner with teachers to design inquiry-based lessons

• Facilitate hands-on STEM experiences for students

• Support teachers in planning and assessment strategies

• Curate the STEM lab as an innovative learning space

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Education plus Science or related field

• Certification with Ontario College of Teachers

• Minimum five years of elementary teaching experience

• Strong understanding of STEM pedagogy and curriculum

• Commitment to professional growth and collaboration
