We seek an individual inspired by our mission, whose beliefs align with our core values of integrity, compassion, inquiry, and courage, and who reflects our core competencies to join our Junior School as a STEM Coordinator K – 6 . This is a full-time position, starting in September 2026.
Compensation & Placement Salary is determined by the Havergal Faculty Grid, ranging from $74,711 – $106,714 for early-career faculty and $107,078 – $140,448 for those with 6+ years of experience. Final placement is based on recognized teaching years, degrees, and Additional Qualifications (AQs).

The Position
The STEM Coordinator leads the development of a cohesive JK–6 STEM program that brings science and technology to life through inquiry, design thinking, real‑world problem solving, and interdisciplinary learning. Working in partnership with faculty, students, and school leadership, the Coordinator fosters engaging and meaningful learning experiences aligned with the Ontario curriculum. Guided by Havergal’s mission to prepare young women to make a difference, this role empowers teachers to centre student thinking, spark curiosity, and cultivate agency in every learner.
The STEM Coordinator is an experienced educator with a deep understanding of student‑centred pedagogy and inquiry‑based learning. They bring an innovative mindset and demonstrate instructional leadership by empowering teachers to design and facilitate rich, engaging STEM experiences.
