Youth Art Educational Assistant

Join Toronto School of Art as a Youth Art Educational Assistant this summer. This 8-week contract position supports youth art education through creative workshops and studio guidance.

The Educational Assistant will play a key role in the Youth Summer Workshop program, beginning June 29, 2026. Ideal candidates will possess a passion for youth art education and a background in visual arts. You will support professional instructors, guiding students aged 11-17 in various mediums, while also contributing to the school's administrative needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a welcoming, creative studio environment for each student

• Help students settle into the studio each day

• Assist with administrative paperwork for youth participants

• Set up studio spaces and organize necessary materials

• Provide technical support to students during projects

Requirements:

• Strong interest in youth art education

• Background in visual arts or related fields

• Ability to support diverse learning needs

• Experience with administrative tasks preferred

• Commitment to fostering an inclusive community
