Position: School Readiness Assistant - Summer Student Role
Enhance community support for children by joining Strides Toronto as a Summer School Readiness Assistant. This role focuses on facilitating school readiness programs in a dynamic environment.

This position is specifically for students in Early Childhood Education, Sociology, or Psychology who are eager to assist the Ready, Set, Go program. You'll actively engage in program operations and support vulnerable families through organized group activities over two weeks in July or August.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of group materials

• Coordinate participant registration and logistics

• Actively run and support group sessions

• Ensure a safe and encouraging working environment

• Complete necessary administration tasks

Requirements:

• Enrolled in an ECE, Sociology, or Psychology program

• Familiar with office software like Excel and Power Point

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

• Committed to promoting IDEA and anti-racism in practice

• Ability to recognize power and privilege dynamics
