Position: UHN Youth Outreach Assistant Role
Transform youth education as a Youth Outreach Assistant for UHN's STEM Pathways program in Ontario. Facilitate interactive experiences for K-12 students through workshops and tours.

This temporary part-time position involves significant outreach responsibilities aimed at engaging local youth with STEM subjects. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Education or a scientific field, and have experience in youth mentorship or outreach.

Your role will include organizing classroom visits and supporting students actively in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and facilitate classroom visits in the community

• Deliver engaging hands-on STEM workshops

• Guide students through experiential learning opportunities

• Collaborate with educators and community groups

• Maintain communication with students and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum of pursuing a science-related degree

• 2 years of youth outreach experience preferred

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

• Familiarity with Microsoft and G Suite applications

• Ability to manage large groups effectively
