The Department of Psychology is seeking an experienced Sessional Lecturer for the Introduction to Sensation and Perception course (PSY
280H1S). The successful candidate will have a PhD in the subject area and showcase excellence in teaching or TA roles. This role involves lecturing, supervising TAs, and evaluating student performance alongside course management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lectures on sensation and perception
• Counselling students on course material and concepts
• Set and invigilate final exams efficiently
• Supervise and mentor teaching assistants
• Report and grade final marks accurately
Requirements:
• Completed PhD in Sensation and Perception
• Excellence in teaching or TA experience
• Demonstrated scholarship in perception studies
• Commitment to student engagement
• Experience at University of Toronto preferred
