Sessional Instructor in Global Justice

For this role, you must possess a PhD in Political Science with a focus on criminal justice. Responsibilities include delivering weekly lectures, developing the course syllabus, and providing academic counseling during office hours. Preferred candidates will have experience in teaching alongside a strong publication record in related fields, such as corruption and police violence. Note that the course is primarily in-person, but delivery methods may adapt as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and manage course syllabi and materials
• Deliver two lectures of three hours each weekly
• Conduct office hours for student consultations
• Assess and grade student work effectively
• Facilitate discussions involving global justice practitioners
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Political Science with a focus on criminal justice
• Previous teaching experience strongly preferred
• Proven expertise in global justice and human rights
• Comfortable engaging students through practical examples
• Adherence to principles of equity and diversity
