This 0.5 FCE appointment requires an engaging instructor with a graduate degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with prior university teaching experience. You will lead students as they define and tackle substantial Computer Science problems, enhancing their learning experience through lectures and project supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver in-person lectures at scheduled times
• Manage course administration and website on Quercus
• Develop assessment strategies, including projects and exams
• Supervise TAs and ensure effective delivery of content
• Timely grading and feedback to students throughout the term
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven expertise in course topic area
• Excellent teaching and communication skills
• Experience teaching at university level
• Ability to manage course grading and feedback
