Appointment Details
- A part-time hourly appointment / one semester is for less than 9 hours in any one semester.
- Course delivery will be in person.
- Candidates hired for in-person courses will be required to carry out their teaching on campus.
- AA support is academically required to deliver this course/section. The successful applicant will be provided appropriate AA support.

EducationPhD. or equivalent in field related to target course
Teaching ExperienceTeaching target or similar course at TMU undergraduate program or another university undergraduate program.
Practice Field ExperienceCurrent (past 3 years) practice in the field of Physics.
CurrencyAcademic publications (refereed) in past 3 years.
Other demonstrated professional currency (practitioner writing, courses taken).
Interactive SkillsThe following will be rated based on previous teaching ratings/evaluations:
- Lecture presentation
- Email Interaction
- Follow through with assignments
Demonstrated experience of ability to effectively teach in an environment which includes demonstrated knowledge of best practices for the delivery & management of courses, including using course management system tools to communicate with students and to foster and support a collaborative learning community with and between students in the course.
Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of personal computers that are relevant to course delivery and online D2L system.
