344H1-F, focusing on the Global Cold War across multiple regions. Engage students with original materials and historical analysis.
As a Sessional Lecturer, you will be responsible for syllabus development and delivering informative lectures. Teaching weekly, you will guide 140 students through the complexities of the Cold War, utilizing your mastery of the subject. Experience teaching similar themes, along with a PhD in History, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and refine the course syllabus
• Lead two-hour in-person discussions weekly
• Evaluate student work fairly and consistently
• Manage TA assignments and responsibilities
• Maintain office hours for student assistance
Requirements:
• Master of Arts in History or comparable field
• Comprehensive knowledge of Cold War history
• Previous teaching experience strongly preferred
• PhD in History advantageous
• Effective communication and leadership skills
