Position: Contract Lecturer - CPS714 - Software Project Management

Contract Lecturer – CPS
714

Salary: $77,701.53 to $99,371.53 per annum. Contract amount is based on semester hours. Full‑workload appointment: 15 hours in any semester;
Reduced‑workload appointment: 9–14 semester hours;
Part‑time hourly appointment: less than 9 semester hours.

    714 – Fall 2026 (F2026)
  • Hours:

    3 per semester
  • Estimated enrolled students: 180
  • Sections: 2 available (Sections 1–4 and Sections 5–8). Schedules TBD.
Teaching Responsibilities
  • Deliver the course content for CPS
    714, including assignments and assessments.
  • Use in‑person, online, or hybrid delivery as determined by the hiring unit.
  • Ensure students have access to the necessary technology and resources.
Qualifications Education
  • PhD or equivalent in a field related to the target course.
Currency
  • Academic publications (refereed) in the past 5 years.
  • Additional publications older than 5 years or current professional profile, including presentations.
  • Other professional currency such as practitioner writing or courses taken.
Interactive Skills
  • Lecture presentation.
  • Email interaction.
  • Follow‑through with assignments.
Assessment Criteria
