Summer Academy Faculty (Term Role) – Vanguard Scholars Program
Black North Initiative works to close gaps created by systemic anti-Black racism in Canada. By holding corporate Canada accountable through measurable commitments, we aim to drive equitable representation and dismantle systemic barriers impacting Black Canadians.
Vanguard Scholars is a national, multi-year academic and leadership pathway supporting high-achieving Black students through postsecondary education. The program combines academic enrichment, mentorship, leadership development, and a Summer Academy delivered with leading Canadian universities. The Academy is an intensive (6 weeks) experience designed to strengthen academic readiness, critical thinking, and confidence.
The Summer Academy Faculty delivers university-preparatory instruction in mathematics or writing, advancing students’ academic skills and readiness for postsecondary success. This role is suited for experienced educators committed to rigorous teaching in a collaborative, high-impact environment.
