Position: Guidance Counsellor for Upper School
Join Havergal College as a full-time Guidance Counsellor focusing on Grades 7 to 9 starting September 2026. Drive student well-being and academic success through individual coaching and innovative programming.

As a dedicated Guidance Counsellor, you'll oversee the academic and social-emotional development of students at Havergal College. Collaborating in a supportive team environment, you will nurture individual student needs, assist in discovering values, and implement best practices for adolescent girls. You'll engage with parents and community members to create a supportive educational atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic counselling focused on Grades 7-9 students

• Coach students in social-emotional development

• Develop dynamic group programming for students

• Collaborate with faculty on student needs

• Maintain accurate student support documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent

• Experience in adolescent counselling

• Knowledge of Ontario curriculum standards

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Commitment to professional development
