In this role within the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering, you will emphasize teaching fluid flow and heat transfer applications. Your expertise will guide students through practical CFD applications, cultivating their understanding rather than focusing solely on software. Strong communication and relevant engineering experience are essential to facilitate effective learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engaging lecture materials on CFD applications
• Oversee and mentor Teaching Assistants for course support
• Assess student performance through tests and exams
• Administer and evaluate final grades effectively
• Maintain proactive communication with students
Requirements:
• Proven lecturing and course preparation experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• P.Eng. designation preferred
• Strong grasp of CFD principles and practices
• Familiar with various CFD software applications
