Position: Summer Wellness Program Assistant Role
Strides Toronto invites applications for the Summer Youth Wellness Program Assistant role, focusing on youth engagement in Scarborough or Toronto East. Plan activities and foster community connections.

In this full-time, 8-week contract role, you will work with youth ages 12-25 at either Youth Wellness Hub. Your responsibilities include planning summer programming, facilitating workshops, and developing outreach strategies. Ideal candidates will have education in a social work or related discipline and a passion for supporting youth in a community-focused role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning summer wellness programming for youth

• Facilitate engaging workshops and recreational activities

• Collaborate to attract youth participation

• Create and distribute promotional materials for events

• Support program evaluation through feedback gathering

Requirements:

• Enrolled in social work or a related program

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals

• Awareness of IDEA frameworks affecting community services

• 15-30 years of age at the employment start date
