In this role within the Department of Psychology, you will introduce students to the complex world of human and animal perception, focusing on vision, auditory, and other sensory modalities. Your duties include lectures, student counseling, and supervising TAs, all contributing to a rich learning experience. You will also manage student assessment through final exams and grading.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct lectures covering various sensory modalities
• Counsel students on course material and progress
• Organize and supervise final exams for students
• Accurately report final marks to the administration
• Train and oversee teaching assistants for the course
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in sensation, perception, or similar area
• Demonstrable excellence in TAing or teaching relevant courses
• Scholarly background in perception topics preferred
• University teaching experience rge campus advantageous
• A strong commitment to diversity and inclusion practices
