Redeemer University seeks an Adjunct Faculty member for Fall 2026 to teach BIO-232/ENV-235:
Ecology and Evolution. Engage with students and guide their learning in Biology and Environmental Science.
The role entails teaching duties based on approved learning outcomes, maintaining scheduled office hours, and preparing lectures. Advanced preparation, student consultations, and evaluation responsibilities are also crucial elements of this position. Candidates should be available from September through December 2026 and engage thoroughly with the course material.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct all teaching duties associated with assigned courses
• Hold scheduled office hours for student inquiries
• Prepare lectures and evaluate student assignments
• Manage grade appeals and academic dishonesty cases
• Fulfill institutional responsibilities as per contract
Requirements:
• MA or PhD in Biology or Environmental Science preferred
• Previous post-secondary teaching experience is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to student success and academic integrity
• Availability for the full course duration
