Position: Academic Writing Instructor for Health Programs
Shape the writing skills of health science students as a Writing Instructor at the University of Toronto. Focus on critical writing techniques tailored to health disciplines.

In this role, you will provide essential writing instruction to both undergraduate and graduate students across Kinesiology, Nursing, Pharmacy, and other health faculties. Candidates must possess a relevant graduate degree, with preference given to those holding a doctoral degree, and must be skilled in teaching academic writing. Understanding the integration of Artificial Intelligence in writing education is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored writing instruction across various health disciplines

• Engage students in writing workshops and skill-building sessions

• Collaborate with faculty on course-related writing expectations

• Participate in the professional development within the Writing Centre

• Uphold academic integrity through effective writing strategies

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in relevant field required; doctoral preferred

• Strong teaching background in academic writing

• Familiarity with health sciences or social science writing

• Awareness of AI tools in educational writing contexts

• Previous university-level teaching experience is a plus
