Classrooms accommodate up to 15 students and are equipped with SMART boards. Teachers receive support through professional development workshops and an online platform for lesson planning and homework.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Supply teach English as a second language to groups of 12‑15 students from 9 am – 12:15 pm, Monday‑Friday.
Teach pre‑planned coverages, emergency coverages (same day), or both.
Teach a variety of classes, including ESL, EAP, IELTS, or business English.
Follow Bayswater policies and procedures in the Teacher Handbook.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Valid TESL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience teaching English to international students.
Experience using technology in the classroom.
Experience teaching exam preparation, business English, EAP, or young learners.
Cambridge DELTA/CELTA, Trinity Dip TESOL, or equivalent (TEFL‑Q status).
MA in Applied Linguistics and ELT/TESOL.
