As a Well-Being Counsellor at BSS, candidates should hold a Master or Bachelor of Social Work. This role engages with the school community, providing counseling, crisis intervention, and workshops that address the diverse needs of students. Collaborating with faculty and families ensures a comprehensive approach to student support and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions
• Consult with teachers on student emotional needs
• Create educational workshops for parents and students
• Monitor achievement during assessments
• Assist in transitions for incoming and rising students
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work or related fields
• Experience in educational environments
• In-depth knowledge of emotional and educational needs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Capacity to lead workshops effectively
