The Bishop Strachan School is seeking a dedicated Well-Being Counsellor. This role requires expertise in social, emotional, and educational support tailored to high school students. Your responsibilities will include developing meaningful relationships and collaborating with faculty to create an inclusive, supportive community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide brief individual and group counseling sessions
• Collaborate with faculty and staff on student well-being
• Offer educational workshops for students and parents
• Participate in Parent-Teacher conferences
• Support transitions for incoming students from Grade 8 to 9
Requirements:
• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field
• Experience in an educational or high school setting
• Expertise in developmental and social/emotional needs
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic setting
