Become a STEM Instructor this fall with Maker Kids! If you're passionate about technology and love engaging with children aged 6-13, this is your chance to shine.
Maker Kids is looking for enthusiastic instructors for after school and weekend STEM programs. You will lead kids through exciting projects using tools like Micro:bit, Scratch, and Minecraft. Ideal candidates should have experience working with kids and a solid grasp of text-based coding and game development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach STEM classes focusing on Coding, Robotics, and Minecraft
• Lead project-based learning with platforms like Python and Unity
• Adapt lessons for various skill levels, from beginner to advanced
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate student progress with parents as necessary
Requirements:
• Experience working with kids in educational settings
• Background in STEAM fields
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Willing to obtain First Aid & CPR certification
