The Counsellor to Students position is with the Student Success Network at The Michener Institute. You will support post-secondary students in allied health programs, offering guidance and services tailored to their unique challenges. Your expertise in multiple counselling modalities will be vital, especially in creating a nurturing environment for student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic and personal counselling to students

• Conduct workshops on key wellness topics

• Assess and address mental health concerns

• Foster positive student relationships

• Collaborate with students for tailored strategies

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in counselling or related field

• Membership in a professional counselling organization

• Five years of counselling experience required

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Police Clearance document required upon hire
