In this full-time role, you’ll join a passionate Guidance Department dedicated to enhancing the lives of students at Havergal College. As a Guidance Counsellor, you will oversee student progress, nurture social-emotional skills, and collaborate with faculty to create meaningful learning experiences. Your innovative and compassionate approach will inspire confidence and agency in each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee academic counselling for Grades 7-9 students

• Develop programs that support social-emotional learning

• Collaborate closely with faculty for holistic student support

• Build trusting relationships with parents and caregivers

• Ensure proper documentation of student support plans

Requirements:

• Relevant university degree and qualifications in Guidance

• Proven counselling experience with adolescents

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Familiarity with Ontario education systems

• Active participation in co-curricular activities
