Position: Academic ESL Instructor at CISS
Become an Academic ESL Instructor at Canadian International Student Services this summer at the University of Toronto. This role is crucial for enhancing students' English language competencies.
CISS is looking for a structured ESL teacher to lead the Academic & Career Prep Course. Teachers will engage students in academic writing and professional communication while assessing their progress through various evaluations. The position requires planning lessons that foster confidence and helping students develop interview skills and career documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver interactive lessons focused on academic and professional skills

• Assess students through written and oral tasks

• Keep accurate attendance records and report on progress

• Create an immersive, confidence-building environment

• Assist students in crafting resumes and cover letters
Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education or TESL Canada recognized certification

• Preference for experience in academic English teaching

• Strong understanding of writing conventions and communication

• Background in preparing students for English exams like TOEFL

• Police Reference Check required
