The University of Toronto is seeking a Sessional Lecturer for the MHI
2010H course as part of its Master of Health Informatics program. You will be responsible for course delivery, student assessment, and the development of practicum placements. Utilizing your teaching experience and strong organizational skills, you will help enhance students' competencies in health informatics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct the professional graduate course using supported learning methods
• Evaluate student outcomes through practical assessments
• Collaborate to manage practicum placements for students
• Lead workshops on professional development skills
• Facilitate timely communication with students outside class hours
Requirements:
• PhD or Master's in relevant field with healthcare experience
• Strong teaching and curriculum development background
• Proficient in electronic teaching tools
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Established connections within healthcare organizations
